VisionSpring has spent 25 years putting eyeglasses on people who need them, across India, Nigeria, Ghana and dozens of other countries. To mark the milestone, they asked us for a motion graphics film that celebrates a quarter-century of clear sight: bold enough for an audience that includes many people with low vision, warm enough to be shared, and clear enough to show partners exactly what VisionSpring does.
- Celebrate 25 years: Tell the story of what VisionSpring does and everything it has achieved since it began.
- Made for low vision: Much of the audience lives with eye problems, so every frame had to be bold, high-contrast and easy to read.
- A global story: Represent the communities VisionSpring serves around the world, from India to Nigeria and Ghana.
- An audience favourite: A film people would love and share, not a corporate report.
- Three weeks: From first idea to final delivery, with room for rounds of client feedback.
We started with VisionSpring’s own archive. They shared photographs from years of eyeglass distributions, including the moment people put on their glasses and see clearly for the first time. Those smiles became the heart of the film.
We built a mood board and storyboard around those reactions, then designed a bold, high-contrast visual language with oversized type and simple shapes, so every frame reads clearly, even for viewers with impaired sight. Throughout production we worked closely with VisionSpring’s Global Multimedia Production Manager, sharing drafts and refining the story with each round of feedback.
- Full creative development: concept, mood board, storyboard and case-study research.
- A 25th-anniversary motion graphics film, animated in After Effects and built from VisionSpring’s own field photography.
- Bold typography and high-contrast design, made for accessibility.
- Communities from across VisionSpring’s regions, including India, Nigeria and Ghana.
- Original sound design and final mix.
- Delivered in about three weeks, with back-and-forth review rounds.
