MTN Golf Tournament: Beyond the Green
Case intro
In 2025, MTN brought its golf tournament to Nigeria, with qualifying rounds in Lagos and Port Harcourt and a grand final in New York. Cineast Productions, the production company behind the campaign, brought us in to create the animated ad that would get people signing up, showing up and taking their shot at the green.

The Brief
- Drive sign-ups: Make people want to register, turn up and try their luck at the Lagos and Port Harcourt rounds.
- Sell the journey: Show the path from the local qualifiers all the way to the final in New York.
- Campaign-ready: A polished animated ad for MTN’s audience across social and digital.
- Three to four days: A very short turnaround, with no room to compromise on quality.
The Approach
With only a few days on the clock, we kept the process tight. We aligned quickly with Cineast Productions on the message and the key details (who can play, where, and how to sign up), then moved straight into design and animation.
We built a bold, energetic look that carries MTN’s brand and the excitement of the game, and kept review rounds short and focused so the work kept moving without cutting corners.
